It all began in a former dairy

​The seeds to VACUMEX A / S were laid in a former dairy in Sonderburg in Denmark back in 1956. At that time plumber His Hammer started the company called H. Hammer. Later in 1961 the company was expanded with engineer Knud Jensen and was named Hammer & Jensen A / S. The company then primarily focused on the development, production and marketing of air heating and ventilation equipment for the German market.

​In 1984 toolmaker Paul Hammer joined the company which changed its name to Hammer Ventilation I/S. In 2007 Poul Hammer sold the company to engineer Kim Møller Nielsen and the name changed to Hammer Ventilation A / S with Vacumex A / S as its secondary name. In 2009 we swapped the two names, so today we are called VACUMEX A / S. In 2010 we moved headquarters from Pattburg to our current address in Tommerup on Funen, 6 km south of Odense.​

VACUMEXA / S is a knowledge-based company that designs, manufactures and markets HVAC products for industrial and comfort ventilation and related products within selected niches.

​VACUMEX A / S markets its own products under the name Vacumex through selected ventilation contractors and wholesalers in Denmark and through a dealer network abroad.

​VACUMEXA / S is a manufacturer and distributor of HVAC

products and does not act as a contractor, but advises contractors to the best solution.
